Our Fantasy cricket scoring system is designed to keep things simple and exciting. Here's how players on your fantasy team earn points based on their real-game performances:
Scoring Rules
Batting Points
- Runs Scored: +1 point for each run
- Boundaries: +1 bonus point for each four, +2 bonus points for each six
- Half Century: +20 bonus points
- Century: +50 bonus points
Bowling Points
- Wickets: +25 points for each wicket
- 4 Wickets: +20 bonus points
- 5 Wickets: +50 bonus points
- Maiden Over: +10 points
Fielding Points
- Catch: +10 points
- Stumping: +15 points
- Run Out: +10 points (direct hit), +5 points (involved in run out)
Example Calculation
If a player scores 75 runs (including 5 fours and 3 sixes), takes 2 wickets, and catches 1 ball, their fantasy points would be calculated as:
- 75 runs = 75 points
- 5 fours = 5 bonus points
- 3 sixes = 6 bonus points
- Half century = 20 bonus points
- 2 wickets = 50 points
- 1 catch = 10 points
Total Fantasy Points: 166 points
